She currently makes award-winning coastal California wines from the Russian River in the north to Santa Barbara County in the south as Winemaker for Plata Wine Partners based in Napa, CA. In addition, Alison sits on the Steering Committee for the Wine Industry Financial Sympsium, Wine Industry Technology Symposium and Central Coast Insights conferences. She is a frequent contributor to Wine Business Monthly, writes the popular "Wine Wizard" column for Winemaker Magazine and is currently an MBA student at UC Davis.
